PARK REGULATIONS

The fundamental rules of the Porto Conte Regional Natural Park – Marine Protected Area “Capo Caccia – Isola Piana” are as follows:

General protection rules:
Compliance with the provisions of the Establishment Decree of September 20, 2002. Activities harmful to the environment are prohibited. Restrictions apply to the use of sound equipment and waste disposal.

Swimming regulations:
Swimming is prohibited in Zone A. Freely permitted in Zones B and C, in accordance with the ordinances of the Maritime Authority.

Recreational boating regulations:
Navigation and access by rental vessels are prohibited in Zone A. Rental is permitted in Zones B and C with prior authorization and in compliance with other regulations.

Mooring regulations:
Mooring is prohibited in Zone A. Mooring is permitted in Zones B and C with prior authorization and under certain limitations.

Anchoring regulations:
Anchoring is prohibited in Zone A. Anchoring is also prohibited in some specific areas and allowed only in designated sites in Zones B and C, with restrictions.

These rules promote environmental protection and regulate human activities to ensure the conservation of the marine protected area.
